We hear every day how important it is to lead a healthy lifestyle. We strive to reduce stress and take care of our body and mind. But what are the foundations on which a healthy lifestyle is built? The answer is "proper diet, daily exercise and adequate sleep”.
Kaloyan Kolev is one of the young hopes of Bulgarian MMA sport. It is extremely important for him to take proper care of his body. He has been doing MMA for nearly 6 years, but before that he was actively training in freestyle wrestling for 15 years. Along with dedication, hard work and training, he has a record of 10 wins and 0 losses, which ranks him among our best competitors in the sport.
What does your regimen include?
First and foremost are nutrition and training, as in any sport. And sleep is extremely important for active recovery. If you don't have a good sleep provided by уgood mattress or comfortable pillow, there is no way you will be able to train fully and be in shape.
Is there anything special you do to achieve a healthy lifestyle? For example, special foods or activities?
There are no special foods and no special regimes. I train according to my own methods. I strive to feel the needs of my body and to comply with them. That's why I train entirely by myself, without a coach, even if sometimes it's more difficult.
How much time a day does it take to train?
As a professional athlete, I spend at least 2-3 hours a day.
Which do you think is needed for real healthy and fulfilling sleep?
Уgood mattress and comfortable pillow, as well as a minimum of 8 hours of sleep to give our body the opportunity to recover. I've been using it recently Verthora – one of the most interesting methods of stress relief. In the product Verthe Acupressure set are included ergonomically designed lotus flowers, made by hypoallergenic plastic. They have a strong relaxing effect. These "flowers” massage key points on the body, causing thousands of tiny stimulations to regulate heart rhythm. I feel it every time your muscles are rested, and the body restored and released from tension. As the Buddha said: "Let's take care of our body healthy is our duty, otherwise we could not keep our minds strong and pure.”
